WRITER DIRECTOR
lOUIS COOLEY
Lous T. Cooley, Jr., a Writer and Director of independent films. He's a military brat who grew up around the world. His student film, " TAP DANCER, staring James Smith, was nominated for BEST HORROR SHORT, by the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival in 2015
"I come from a Fine Art background with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. I have an MFA FILMMAKING (Directing) and an MFA in SCREENWRITING."

" I believe my art background is what makes my films unique and different form others, which is why I lean towards the Avant - Garde, which is French, for: (advance guard). Which means, I advance as guardian of art to challenge the status quo of the film medium, Le Cinema. In other words I could give a damn about the so called status quo of whats vogue in film. "
"I know the rules and deliberately break them when my narrative depends on it. I was free as a Painter and so shall I be as a filmmaker"

"To me the Cinema is the strongest and most powerful of the artistic mediums, which is why I inevitably became a Director.

"I edit, compose music, shoot, and sometimes act in my written and directed film dramas.
My short film RADIO, staring Terrance Smith, was the film that shifted my abilities as a Filmmaker, allowing me to successfully produce a film wearing all of the hats. It was an honor to see it accepted into the WASTELAND FILM FESTIVAL, held every year in the Mojave Desert, MAD MAX STYLE."
